Event attended by country’s crème-de-la-crème and fashion connoisseurs
CH Carolina Herrera, the name associated with elegance and style, has opened its first
store in Abu Dhabi. On the occasion of the opening of the first CHCarolina Herrera store
in Abu Dhabi, the internationally renowned designers Carolina Herrera and daughter
Carolina hosted a cocktail dinner yesterday in a bespoke crystal tent in the Royal Stables
of Abu Dhabi.
U.A.E. socialites such as Mr & Mrs Bassam Samman, Dr. and Mrs Nicholas Alissa, and
Mrs Rasha Mubarak attended this gala dinner.
Other dignitaries, representatives from the Chalhoub Group -the partner of CHCarolina
Herrera in the region- artists, business leaders, VIPs, editors and fashion connoisseurs were
all present to mark the event and to inaugurate the new store alongside the fashion icons.

The gala event featured a CH Carolina Herrera fashion show for the FW11 collection,
a live pianist as well as an equestrian light and music show that added an Arabian flair to
the exclusive event. Surrounded by trees and greenery, the Carolina Herrera world and
values of luxurious elegance were brought to life in the cozy, intimate, chic and welcoming
ambiance.
In its women’s, men’s, children’s and accessories’ collections CH Carolina Herrera reflects
a spirit, a zest for life, elegance and classic wear with a twist while always respecting pure
lines, excellent fabrics and cuts.
But the CarolinaHerrera collections have gone beyondwomen’s wear, menswear, children’s
wear, accessories and shoes. They also include an exclusive collection of lifestyle items and
fragrances, which are the invisible accessory that complements the CH lifestyle. Whether
it is a soft evening dress, a handbag or baby carriage, all items have one thing in common:
they are all stamped with the unique spirit of CH Carolina Herrera which makes them an
essential part of the clientele’s everyday life.

Inside the stores, the CHCarolina Herrera environment resembles an elegant and inviting
home marked with intimate spaces, separate rooms decorated with luxury wood panelling,
fabric and elements found in elegant home spaces such as a pool table and bookshelves.
Since its launch in 2001, CH Carolina Herrera has opened stores in 16 countries
worldwide. There are now 10 in the Middle East. The store in Abu Dhabi is the first in the
capital but the fifth in the UAE.
