Following tremendous success in Dubai, Teatro Restaurant took centre stage at the capital’s dining scene in a five-star Park Rotana Abu Dhabi. The signature venue comprises of a Sushi bar, main dining area with an open showcase kitchen, bar and open wine cellar. It offers a comprehensive a la carte menu creatively blending dishes fromThai, Chinese, Japanese, Indian and Italian cuisines. The interior is filled with deep warm colours, hand blown glass, beaded crystal features and array of Venetian masks which create a relaxed ambiance of an informal dining style. While indulging in the gastronomic “Teatro” play, guests can watch a showcase of theatrical style live cooking of their meals at the venue’s show kitchen and Sushi Bar. Complimented by an extensive wine collection, connoisseurs and pretenders like us will be delighted to choose a bottle of their favourite vintage from an extravagant portfolio within the wine cellar. Our favourite dishes are the chicken yakitori, scallops seven spices and the phenomenal grilled black angus. For dessert Jordana went for the baked Hawaiian and I dived into the Raspberry and Chocolate Terrine. The level of service matches the high quality of food, which is absolutely brilliant.
