The de Grisogono booth at the recent Baselworld exhibition was testament to the growth of the company, as the bold black architecture dominated a whole corner of exhibition space. The new collections inside the impressive stand instantly showed the main reason for the success of the company – stunning jewellery. Firstly the Incrocio line, which can be interpreted in Italian as ‘interlacing’, is a stunning complete jewellery set comprising a ring, earrings, pendant and bracelet. The innovative design immediately catches the eye with its apparently random alternating aesthetic, together with the striking contrast between diamond-set elements and pink gold ones coated with black resin. With characteristics of generous volumes and exquisitely rounded curves, these jewellery items create a light, airy and playful touch. Their quirky and fascinating asymmetrical design features loops of varying shapes and sizes that radiate a decidedly original and unmistakably modern form of elegance. The pendant has wider than usual links and can be adjusted for wear at different lengths, while the earrings create an appealing cascade effect, and the bracelet and ring wrap themselves around wrist and finger in a charming, eye-catching manner.
