1 3 9 S I M P LY A B U DH A B I T he Spring and Summer 2013 collection from Brioni was a triumph and received a rapturous response from those gathered at the verdant gardens of Milan’s La Triennale. The models were a refreshing mix of models and movers and shakers from exciting fields of endeavour, and all looked comfortably clad for a leisurely round of summer sports, a laid back afternoon of relaxing at the club house or a night on the tiles taking in the most exclusive hotspots. As is to be expected from Brioni, the collection fizzed with a palette of vibrant colours, with iridescent silk dinner jackets in teal blue and raspberry red, with coral cardigans, sun-kissed yellows and ocean blues all collaborating to make the perfect seasonal wardrobe. Brioni also launched a welcome ‘couture’ take on denim, with an interlock and blue and white linen fashioned into a slim two- buttoned suit.
