Put your foot down and that impressive front end rises like a fighter jet taking off, with an accompanying throaty roar that only adds to that effect. It's incredible that such a seemingly huge and heavy car can react so instantly, so aggressively. In less than 5 seconds you're travelling at 60mph and suddenly your Range Rover has become a super-saloon, (it does, after all share an engine with Jaguar), hurtling down the highway with a silky smoothness that makes it hard to believe you're in a vehicle that will happily climb the highest mountain, cross the desert and wade through rivers. It's an amazing experience and one you really have to experience to believe. I’ve mentioned it before, but it's this combination of all- round performance, driveability and luxury that makes the Range Rover Sport unique. In this writer's opinion, it also makes it simply unbeatable.
