The Rixy Club is exclusively geared towards children up to the age of 12 and the hotel constructs an experience that begins at a special check-in where children receive a Rixy Club passport, which entitles them to take part in a broad spectrum of activities. The employees were very friendly and you could rest assured your little ones would be in good hands. Throughout each day, young visitors have professional entertainers who organise pool games, courses and much more. Thankfully I didn’t have to worry about keeping the kids entertained, my only concern at this point was which treatment to opt for in the beautifully authentic Rixos Royal Spa. This luxury health and beauty centre offers water rituals, massages, body therapies and skin care regimens derived from a global menu of traditional and contemporary practices and it was really a tough choice. This was something special, the interior of the spa is recreated with a sympathetic eye for traditional details and my therapist was an expert in scrubbing and ensuring a really authentic Turkish treatment. Gleamingly clean and rejuvenated I left the spa with a warm glow and a healthy appetite. I headed back to the pool area and went straight to the Salt seafood restaurant. Salt offers contemporary dining with a touch of Turkish seafood mezzes and salads and the quality of the food is top notch. To start with the attentive waitress served bread with a selection of flavoured salts that were interesting. I then enjoyed a mezze of octopus
