worthy of a top restaurant in any major city, and served high up in the clouds. The business jet was so comfortable and the service so exceptional, I could have actually stayed up in the air for longer, but we soon touched down in the Seychelles and were transferred by private car to the Banyan Tree Seychelles resort. Here I was allocated a private beachfront spa pool villa and treated to a 90 minute Balinese massage on the open air hillsides of this stunning property. Feeling utterly relaxed I joined the RJLV celebrations at a beautiful double pooled villa and met Shane O’ Hare, CEO of Royal Jet Abu Dhabi. Commenting about the RJLV venture he says, “Well we have matured and we know our customers very well. We know from them there is the need for a similar level of service in the travel sector as to what Royal Jet offers in the charter business.” He adds that, “This is the time to extend the Royal Jet to a wider luxury brand offering.” In order to create the GCC’s first ultra-luxury travel company, O’Hare describes what Royal Jet looked for from a potential travel partner, “We wanted to find a like minded travel company that could assist and partner with us to build this product offering.” The final choice for the joint venture was the Eden Luxury Group, one of the UK’s leading independent luxury travel providers and operators of luxury brands such as the Eden Collection and Seasons in Style. O’ Hare explains, “Eden was a logical choice, they have a similar client base and a similar philosophy to Royal Jet”. 2 4 4 S I M P LY A B U DH A B I
