Prizes were generously donated by Jaeger Le-Coultre, 3rd Home, Royal Mansour Marrakech, Amouage and Six Senses Zighy Bay. Remi Bertoche, the famous polo painter, also donated a piece that he had painted during the course of the evening. Some of the region’s top executives and clients from ADIA, Mubadala, Dubai World, GAM and Charles Russell all gave generously. As the day drew to a close, His Highness Sheikh Shaqboot bin Nahyan al Nahyan, himself a famed rider, gave the Thesiger Trophy to the victorious Ghantoot team. The founders of the event, Edward Olver and Tom Hudson, have rolled out British Polo Days around the world with the goal of opening doors and building a network of diplomatic and commercial opportunities to showcase great British brands.
