Faberge’s contemporary collection ‘Les Danses Fantasques’ takes inspiration from the great Russian ballets and evokes the refinement and opulence of the legendary productions. The collection features several suites, each comprising a show-stopping necklace with matching earrings and rings. ‘La Esmeralda’ is a necklace, earring and ring suite in emeralds and diamonds. An exquisite lace composition, the suite is inspired by the romantic ballet ‘La Esmeralda’. The necklace features delicate swirls of white diamonds, suspended on a double chain of cabochon emerald beads and complemented by majestic pear-shaped emerald drops. ‘Luda’ comprises an elegant bow-shaped diamond necklace showcasing a significant egg-shaped emerald drop and matching earrings, which express femininity and elegance, with a dynamic sense of movement. The suite is inspired by the epic fairy tale of the Russian opera ‘Ruslan and Ludmila’. ‘Raymonda’ is a magnificent suite comprising an amethyst and diamond choker necklace, cocktail ring and chandelier earrings. Inspired by the ‘Raymonda’ ballet, it features a series of impressive egg-shaped amethysts fit for the heroine of the dramatic production. ‘Giselle’ is a white diamond suite inspired by the classic romance of the ‘Giselle’ ballet. The necklace and matching earrings also feature interpretations of the decorative swirls on the Twelve Monograms Egg, the first Fabergé Imperial egg presented by Tsar Nicholas to his mother Empress Maria Feodorovna in 1895.
