2 6 6 S I M P LY A B U DH A B I O ther artists in the region who are working hard to establish a name and reputation are Ima Caforio and Jasim Ahmed, who united together in their work are known as IMAjAZ. The collaboration between Italian artist Ima Caforio and the UAE-based artist of Indian ancestry Jasim Ahmed, aims to create artworks that reflects and celebrates each artist’s own vibrant heritage and rich culture. The pair have created numerous works together and exhibited in venues all over Abu Dhabi. The cross-cultural team is already known for their ‘Crystal Collection’ whereby both artists brought their unique experiences to the project and deployed Swarovski crystals to lend brilliance to the exclusive collection, giving each piece an expressive richness and dimension.
