T he Tiffany’s brand hardly needs an introduction. Immortalised forever in the classic film ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s’ starring the timelessly elegant Audrey Hepburn, its fabulous jewellery has been synonymous with covetability since its inception in 1837. Its latest collections continue that heritage, seamlessly blending Tiffany’s signature style of romance, glamour and classic design, meaning no woman will ever be disappointed to receive one of its legendary blue boxes. This season the Mistletoe brooch will be high on anyone’s wishlist. Its symbolism embodies romance, making it the perfect gift for a loved one - or indeed a gift to one’s self. The luxuriant leaves on the brooch are wrought in vibrant green Tsavorite, a spectacular gem that’s currently making waves across the jewellery world, which was originally introduced and promoted by Tiffany. Each leaf emerges from stems of 18 karat white gold, and the mistletoe’s ‘berries’ are depicted in cultured pearls set against diamonds. Tiffany also presents a new Atlas collection, continuing with all the power andmagnetism that made this celebrated design a fashion icon. A new series in the collection’s signature clean-cut Roman numerals assert their timeless beauty in bangles of 18 karat yellow, white or rose gold, bordered with sparkling diamonds. The Ziegfeld Collection reflects the chic sophistication of the Jazz Age with jewellery inspired by designs in the Tiffany archives. The collection evokes the famed and glamorous showgirls of the era, the Ziegfled Follies, whose heavily embellished costumes and lengths of luxurious pearls were a signature of 1920s fashion. Tiffany perfectly emulates their style with tassel earrings of freshwater cultured pearls and sterling silver. The influential style of the Art Deco movement is also brought to life within the Ziegfeld Collection. Art Deco was characterised by rich colours, bold geometric shapes and lavish ornamentation. Tiffany brings it to life with an elegant ring of sterling silver with a cushion-cut black spinel and bezel-set diamonds that shimmer with the exuberance of 1920s fashion. A pendant of Montana sapphires and diamonds in platinum highlights a legacy of coloured gemstones that played a major role in Tiffany’s rise as a world-premier jeweller. Now as then, Tiffany jewellery with these captivating stones richly reflects the timeless blue of wildflowers and the vast horizon. Tiffany has always been famed for the exquisite quality of its gemstones and this season that is beautifully highlighted in emeralds of rich, saturated colour. In ring settings of diamonds, platinum and 18k gold, ensure these captivating stones are the ultimate symbols of style. There’s a reason that Marilyn Monroe dropped the Tiffany name twice during her legendary homage to all that sparkles in the song Diamonds Are a Girls’ Best Friend. The jeweller is justly celebrated for its diamond creations and its latest dazzling drop earrings from the Tiffany Legacy® collection highlights every facet, making the perfect showcase for its craft. Once again this collection is inspired by jewels in the Tiffany & Co. archives, reviving the glamour of a day when a woman was considered underdressed without spectacular gemstones accentuating her natural assets. Luxurious in length, the platinum-set earrings echo the sensuous motion of a sleek silhouette. Whilst the style may nod to days gone by, they were created to complement contemporary style with spirit and flair. And let us not forget the gentlemen. As Simply Abu Dhabi knows, the joy of something that subtly glitters is not just reserved for ladies. Tiffany has enjoyed a rich heritage of design creating silver accessories for men. This finds its latest form in the stylish and understated Roadster cuff links that are handcrafted in gleaming sterling silver. 1 4 7 S I M P LY A B U DH A B I 4 5 6 7
