And micro skirts (lock up your sons). Donatella is determined that this is not a reference to the house of Versace’s past flirtations with punk (remember that Elizabeth Hurley dress of the 90s!). Donatella wanted to modernise the bygone black-and-white era, to bring a classic, silver screen glamour to a sophisticated modern woman. One with pluck and attitude. In the process, she has reinvented punk and called it ‘Vunk’. It’s sassy, it’s sophisticated, it’s svelte and we love it.
