3 2 0 S I M P LY A B U DH A B I Heavenly Body The Celestial Phantom I’m sure you’ll agree that every Rolls Royce is a very special vehicle. However, it appears that some are even more special than others. A case in point is the Celestial Phantom, a car which simply has to be seen to be believed. This incredible vehicle recently took centre stage at the Dubai International Motor Show and it’s easy to see why its presence caused such a stir. You see, it’s a Rolls Royce with a few very special added extras, 446 special extras to be exact. Meticulously hand-set into the door cappings, console lid and rear privacy divider are 446 real diamonds, twinkling like the stars that give the Celestial Phantom its name. Of course, TheMiddle East is the perfect setting for a car as glamorous and unique as this. We asked Torsten Müller Ötvös, CEO of Rolls Royce Motor Cars to explain further, “The Middle East is the largest market for Bespoke in the world and in celebration of this we sought to create something truly special for the Dubai International Motor Show.” He went on to add, “Every Rolls Royce is crafted with only the finest materials, extending the Celestial Phantom’s starry night theme with one of the rarest and most precious commodities in the world was a natural choice” This one-of-a-kind masterpiece celebrates a truly seminal moment in Rolls-Royce history - the handover of the first Phantom to its owner at midnight on 1 January 2003.
