Original Pavonina Collection G lashütte Original presented the “Pavonina” for the first time in 2013, showcasing an extraordinary collection of seductively elegant timepieces celebrating beauty and femininity. In 2014 the broad repertoire of this fascinating and beautiful collection, created especially for women, has become enriched with a splendid new timepiece fully set with exquisite diamonds. With this exceptionally beautiful model, the Saxon manufactory presents customers of superbly refined taste with a shimmering jewel, featuring 513 radiant diamonds, which sparkles and radiates effortlessly to create a deeply dramatic spectacle. This luxurious watch uses the distinctive cushion shape that dates back to the 1920s. Over three hundred diamonds set in soft, flowing lines follow the form of the white gold case, with the front and sides of the case also decorated in diamonds, lending this exquisite work a graceful appearance from every angle. There is a mother-of-pearl dial, surrounded by a beautiful refined guilloche, where one- hundred and eighteen brilliant cut diamonds have been painstakingly set by hand. The passage of time is indicated by filigreed feuille hands, whose elegant leaves glide gracefully over the glamorous diamond indexes. The refined date window is presented in perfectly colour-matched harmony at six o’clock on the dial. For this iridescent model the unmistakable Glashütte Original logo has been printed on the inside of the domed sapphire crystal and floats above the surface of the dial. This timepiece is rich in playful opulence and the incredible level of detail is equally evident on the lugs, which are lavishly embellished with seventy-four cut diamonds, while the crown is topped with a single brilliant. An elegant satin strap in a rich orchid tone completes the look of luxury and gives this timepiece a vibrant appearance. All the watches in the Pavonina collection feature the absolute precision and instinctive comfort assured by the Calibre 03-01 quartz movement. An innovative feature offers three times the standard magnetic protection, shielding the sensitive mechanism from the influence of modern mobile electronic devices and thus enhancing the quality of the watch. The plate is decorated with the characteristic Glashütte stripe finish, and the engraved logo appears in gold on the silver plate.
