And the new jewellery designs from the Italian house are no exception: dramatic, drenched in colour, in other words – pure Versace. Designed by Donatella Versace, new pendants and necklaces in the Haute Couture line represent the glamour and luxury of the brand, which launched its first high jewellery line in 2012. The dazzling centrepieces of this year’s collection are the new Medusa Idol necklaces, characterised by a floral motif, with baroque curlicues dotted with diamonds and alternated with previous gemstones like amethyst, rose and yellow quartz. Complementing the Versace couture signature themes of deeply saturated colour and undeniable glamour, the necklaces are statement pieces for the bold and adventurous stylemaker.
