We had the honour of visiting the Grand Mosque, and of touring the cultural centre that also bears Sheikh Zayed’s name. There, we learned about the Centre’s mission and vision of education and tolerance, as a testament to the life of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, reverently remembered as The Father of Abu Dhabi. It was a humbling, enlightening and awe-inspiring spiritual journey, one we will not soon forget – and one we’d encourage all residents of and visitors to Abu Dhabi to experience for themselves. Continuing the theme of serenity and reflection, we take you to Dubai, to explore the tranquil haven of Dar Al Masyaf, a hidden treasure of summer houses along the waterways of the stunningMadinat Jumeirah resort.
