The colour palette expands beyond grey to a traditional range of masculine hues: dark sand, blue and brown, all treated to achieve a flannel effect. Elsewhere, in jerseys, shirts, waistcoats and trousers, there are also Indian-inspired délavé tones such as burgundy, jade green and mauve. Graphic effects are set aside for the more sombre seasons, paving the way for a more clear and considered look. The narrow-collared shirts, often in white, serve to soften the overall look, while the trousers are perfectly proportioned. The collection is relaxed, even nonchalant, but showcases Armani’s signature precise tailoring.
