With autumn comes the time to reflect, on both what has been and what is to come. Perhaps a time for renewal, enabling us to face the winter months with a fresh sense of purpose. With this in mind, I’ve been indulging in all things beautiful. Chanel has allowed me to wallow in my makeup addiction with their new collection for the season, États Poétiques, which will serve all of you needing a new colour fix. Daring and fabulous, this is one to be seen. Branching out from the norm, as Chanel often does, they’ve created a visual enchantment of colours that you won’t know you needed. Take a look, sand I suspect you’ll be next in line for a new makeup bag addition. Then, too, with skincare, Chanel again takes the reins. Most of you will be aware of the wonderment that is Le Lift – well, let me please you further by showcasing two new additions to this clock-reversing range. New kids on the block, Le Lift Sérum and Le Lift Crème Yeux, are aching for your attention. Youth-inducing with high-tech scientific formulas, these concoctions speak for themselves. I’ve also been graced with the presence of Ajmal perfumes and their celebratory new releases. Sixty-three years in the business of making our lives and bodies more fragrant; now we have a trio of scents to choose from. If you must choose, that is…To separate them is like picking your favourite friend – impossible! Allow them all to enrich your life with various notes of wood, ranging from sandalwood, amber and hatkora, stirred up with plenty of other choice ingredients for your pleasure. Then finally on to a skincare brand I’ve been familiar with since its launch not toomany years ago, back in 2008. Things have come on leaps and bounds since then, and I’m happy to say my instincts were bang on. Elemental Herbology is all about keeping it natural. Natural, but with a twist. This is a line that is high performance and massively results-driven. The accolades from their customers around the world speak for themselves. An ethos of feeding your skin from the inside out is one to live by, and one I learned more about when I had the opportunity to speak to the woman behind the brand, Kristy Cimesa. A calming, serene and intelligent woman, her presence makes you feel like you could ask her anything, and her answers make you feel warm and fuzzy inside. As always, beauty lovers, I’d love to hear any feedback and questions you have about all things Simply Beautiful. Feel free to get in touch with me on @beautisserie via Twitter and Instagram, and I’d be happy to respond. Indeed, if there are any brands or facets of beauty you’d like to know more about, ask me and I’ll investigate!
