We are definitely looking to expand to the Asian and American markets soon (the Lykan will be featured in one of Hollywood’s biggest movies coming out next year). The U.S. and China are probably the largest markets for supercars and hypercars. However, as we are labelled ‘the first Arabian HyperCar’, it makes sense to start in the GCC and then expand our territories accordingly. How important is the UAE/GCCmarket for WMotors and the Lykan? Based in Dubai since early 2013, the UAE is our main focus to establish the name as a local brand. We recently signed with a dealership inDubai withmany plans to expand in the coming years. What’s next for WMotors? We’re expecting to reach many milestones in the coming year. We are moving forward with the construction of our new production facility in Dubai, which will be the first supercar factory in the region, scheduled to be operational by the end of 2014. This would establish a full automotive industry in the Middle East, from design and engineering to full-scale manufacturing. W Motors will also be launching two new lines of vehicles (the SuperSport and the 4-door luxury sedan, both to be fully produced in the UAE) offering cutting edge technologies and innovative designs, all while staying in the niche exclusive market. And our signature question... What do you think of the Simply Abu Dhabi publication? I admire your publication. Even though I receive many magazines and luxury publications at the office, Simply Abu Dhabi always stands out. The quality of the packaging, the design and the printing is absolutely impeccable and I am always curious to see what you have featured in each issue.
