The dazzling result of this fusion is the London Edition, the second opening of the boutique hotel from Marriot. Following on from the first in Istanbul, with Miami Beach and New York set to be next on the list, this innovative, contemporary gem in the heart of London’s Fitzrovia area merges modern innovation, design, and service in an iconic landmark setting. Needless to say, then, Jordana and I were extremely excited to get the chance to visit the London Edition Hotel – and we were especially delighted at the prospect of dining in its widely acclaimed Berners Tavern restaurant, by Michelin-starred London chef Jason Atherton. Undeniably modern, yet sophisticated and gloriously opulent, the London Edition welcomed us with stylish panache and hospitable charm.
