From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome and comfortable, whilst at the same time feeling dazzled and amazed by the sheer allurement of the surroundings. Everywhere you look there are bold, extravagant visual statements that somehow never become overwhelming or crass. Service in both the restaurant and the hotel is beyond excellent. Staff are courteous, attentive, informed and genuinely caring but without being interfering or fussy. From the front desk, through to room service or the huge, spellbinding main bar, we were made to feel like supremely important guests at all times, a rare and very welcome experience. The London Edition boasts an unbeatable location as well. Located in Fitzrovia, it’s a short walk north of the shopping haven of Oxford Street. To the south isWardour Street, with cafés and restaurants all the way to Soho. The British Museum is a short walk east and the shops and boutiques ofMarylebone Village are to the west. As Jordana and I can now attest, the London Edition Hotel and its superb in-house Berners Tavern restaurant are must-visit destinations when in London.
