7 0 S I M P LY A B U DH A B I A highlight of the meal was the arrival of the Caesar salad cart, when the staff prepared the famous creation from scratch, right at our table. Without a doubt, it’s a delightful ritual, and one that adds a bit of fun to a world-class meal. But we were evenmore impressed when we learned that a percentage of the proceeds from all Caesar salads are donated to the remarkable Make-A-Wish Foundation UAE. Given that BOA’s California restaurants sell more than 9,000 of the salads per month, the Abu Dhabi branch is poised to make a significant difference to the lives of local children. It was extremely gratifying to see BOA’s commitment its new home manifested in this way. To cap off this delectable meal, we selected a classic American dessert to share, the Baked Alaska – vanilla and strawberry ice cream, covered in meringue, served with berries and caramel sauce. Light, refreshing, and satisfying, it was the perfect end to a perfect meal. Our visit left us with no question that BOA Steakhouse has created a new classic – the traditional steakhouse reimagined as a fun, energetic, friendly destination for the finest steaks and side dishes served with a contemporary, creative twist. It’s sure to become a cornerstone attraction at Eastern Mangroves Promenade – and bring a bit of L.A. flair to Abu Dhabi.
