The new PanoMaticInverse flips the script by revealing its inner workings, normally visible through the caseback, on the dial side. This ‘inverse’ perspective allows the wearer to admire the automatic movement provided by the duplex swan-neck fine adjustment, while enjoying the technical sophistication and functionality of this stylish timepiece. Glashütte Original introduced the PanoInverse XL, the first of its watches to display its inner mechanisms on the dial, to much acclaim in 2008. In order to achieve this unusual technical feat, watchmakers had to refine many of the movement components and further develop individual components and sub-groups, which led to a completely new design of the manual winding Calibre 66.
