Whether it be trying something new or staying loyal to our trusted brands, there’s never a better time to make some beauty resolutions. Let the dawn of a new beginning be our excuse to indulge in products and rituals to make us feel and look our best. With this edition of Simply Beauty, I’mmaking sure all bases are covered. I want to show you products you may already be familiar with and reveal some facets you might have not known. I would like to tell you about new products that have emerged in the last fewmonths, too – I’m sure you’ll be tempted to try them out for yourself. Crème de la Mer is a range that I’m sure has graced your bathroom cabinets. They’ve been ahead of their game with incredible results since bursting onto the beauty scene. Glamorous and opulent yet proving that their formulas stand the test of time, I take a closer look at their current line-up as well as showing you their colour line. A collection that truly has it all. I also pose some questions to their Senior Vice President and Head of Research and Development, Loretta Miraglia. To add some colour into our lives and enhance our complexions further, I’ve been interested to see what natural products can do for us. A range so good for your skin that apparently you can sleep in it (although I don’t advise it!), Bare Minerals is a brand who has spearheaded mineral makeup in the cosmetic market. Whether you have sensitive skin or merely want to see what unprocessed elements can deliver, this is a range not to be ignored. I also get to ask their International Makeup Artist some questions to find out what her experience with Bare Minerals has taught her. Lessons we can all learn from. Then some fragrance to top off your beauty fix. Taking the classic Little Black Dress ethos and turning it in to a perfume range, Guerlain has a beautiful collection to tempt your senses: a trio of scents to delight you, with an additional accessory that I’m sure you’ll want to add to your wish list. Even the bottles are an artistic sight to behold with sophistication and elegance being the order of the day.
