We particularly loved the selection of lightweight dresses in shades of white and cream, each embellished with a subtle but distinctly feminine bit of sparkle or sheer overlay with embroidery. Crisp white tops feature delicate floral detail and pair perfectly with demurely lacy skirts and flowy leggings. For a slightly edgier – but still ultra- sophisticated – look, a sleeveless peplum top and a slit-leg skirt are impeccably constructed from rich leather in a neutral shade and set off by an slender, elegant belt at the waist. Certainly there are hints of vintage mid-1960s style, as befits a collection to mark the founding of Aigner 50 years ago. But it’s incredibly fresh, modern, and contemporary. And yes – very, very pretty.
