But don’t forget that it’s fusion that powers the sun and the stars – and with this unique fusion of styles, Asia de Cuba has become a true star in North America as one of its most iconic restaurant companies. Now, for the first time, this creatively delicious concept has come to the Emirates, at the prestigious St. Regis Abu Dhabi, a landmark address at the magnificent Nations Tower beachfront on the Corniche. Fusion is everywhere at Asia de Cuba Abu Dhabi. Comprising distinct restaurant, lounge and beach club areas, the restaurant blends a vibrant, upbeat atmosphere with an innovative menu featuring the brand’s signature modern Chino-Latino cuisine. The concept is rooted in the Asian influence on Cuban food and culture from Havana's Chinatown, El Barrio Chino de la Habana, one of the oldest and largest in Latin America. By drawing on this cross-cultural influence, Asia de Cuba creates a style of food entirely of its own – and howmany restaurants can claim that? The menu is the creation of Cuban-born Asia de Cuba Executive Chef, Luis Pous, and has been updated for the UAE market to better represent tastes across the region, whilst staying faithful to the brand’s core ethos. The enticing variety on the menu provides intensely flavoured and creatively prepared dishes. Whilst the menu will welcome new culinary delights, Abu Dhabi’s discerning crowds can also expect to see some of the most celebrated dishes, such as Cuban seafood stew, shrimp churros with coconut curry, and rocoto miso glazed snapper with orange mojo, to name just a few.
