Elsewhere in the collection is the Benguerra long necklace, a transformable piece of white gold, diamonds, blue and yellow sapphires, spessartite garnets and cultured pearls. The necklace evokes the warm currents of the Indian Ocean meeting the Atlantic, much like the way it does near the island haven of Benguerra, off the coast of Africa. The bracelet gently caresses the wrist, the colour’s intensity accentuated by the stream of white cultured pearls. The necklace can be worn short or long for any occasion. The collection is not complete without the Fée des Mers clip, a graceful and feminine white and yellow gold piece with round and rose-cut diamonds, blue and yellow sapphires, spessartine and grossular garnets, crowned with a cabochon-cut chalcedony of no less than 23.64 carats. A sea fairy settles lightly on the chalcedony reef, the blue of which is tinged delicately with grey, echoing the sapphire and diamond bubbles that mingle gently amongst her hair. The figure, deceptively fragile in its beauty, is adorned with garnets and sparkling yellow sapphires, and is caressed by the currents of the sea; free from some lost legend, the beauty truly evokes the undersea world.
