2 3 4 S I M P LY A B U DH A B I C linique has always been one of those brands with fond memories for me. From as far back as I can remember, when I was first getting into skincare, it was one I tried and stuck to for a long time. It sawme throughmy teenage years when I used their 3-step skincare system (cleanse, tone and moisturise) religiously. And it paid off – my oily skin was kept under control and relatively spot- free whilst I was stressing my way through school. This is still the cornerstone of the brand, with the Dramatically Different Moisturising Lotion (step 3) being sold somewhere in the world every 3.7 seconds. Impressive! I always perceived it as a trustworthy option for my skin. Aside from the customer service and care they put into looking after their clients, the products work and do exactlywhat they said they'd do. The packaging has always been appealing too, to both men and women. It’s modern, straightforward and yet slick with a cool edge that's tricky to carry off in today's over-saturated cosmetic world. After a while I also branched out into theirmakeup, which has evolved perfectly in its lifespan in our beauty halls. It appeals to young and old, ensuring everyone is catered for and all skin types kept satisfied. No scary colours or products youdon't knowwhat to do with, it will enhance your look whilst being functional at a pricepoint that you feel is fully worth it. Introduced to themarket in 1969, it was a brand that had the clinical edge. All products are developed by dermatologists, allergy tested and 100%fragrance free. All elements, I'msure, are important to prospective shoppers. It's the number one premium line of skincare in the UK and now available in 135 countries across the globe and growing all the time. In recent years Clinique has upped its game even more. With new and established brands vying for our attention, it takes a good amount of quality and customer care to gain our trust. Clinique prides itself on how they approach and look after their customers. Always the softly, softly approach with a unique personal touch, you can be sure to get their full attention and genuine recommendations. On the colour side of things, the incredible andwell establishedmakeup artist Florrie White has recently been appointed as their UK colour ambassador. At a time when Clinique's makeup continues to push the boundaries and create products we want (andneed) to own, it's integral that they have a face of an expert to bring the collections to the forefront. Like the brand, Florrie is an expert in her fieldwhilst still having that cool, approachable persona. Making up celebrities like Alexa Chung, Emily Blunt, Margot Robbie, Rosamund Pike, Blake Lively and Rosie Huntington-Whitely, her portfolio of fans is beyond impressive. After a stint assisting another makeup maven, CharlotteTilbury, Florrie set out onher own in 2005.Herwork has graced the covers of Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar and i-Damongst others. Having alsoworkedwith the best photographers, fromAnnie Leibovitz toNickKnight, Florrie is oftenpart of the dream team of creatives who produce incredible images. Taking a closer look at the makeup side of things, there have been so many products that have of course stood the test of time, yet I'm impressed with their new lines that keep being released. The Chubby Stick lip products have become somewhat iconic. A large crayon that is so easy to apply, you could almost do it without looking. With somuch colour choice and finishes, there's something for every girl and everymood. TheChubby ethoswas then extended fromthe lips to the eyes. Eyeshadow in a crayon – simply draw it over your eyelid and blend it in. Almost no need for brushes, it’s that simple. The latest in the line isChubbymascara. Available in a range of shades, it does as you'd imagine... give some intense volume to your lashes, really fattening themup if you will! More funkywords andpackaging come in the formof the Pop line. Lipsticks in simple rectangular packaging with half in the shade that's inside, they deliver a strong hue of brave colour but feel super moisturising on the lips. A satisfying bullet of punchy colour that you can't wait to use. I recently got hold of Poppy Pop, an incredible orangey redwhich I put on as soon as I hadmy hands on it. Proving that makeup and Clinique’s clients are gettingmore bravewith colour, these support the need towhack on some happiness on our faces. Pop is also available for the cheeks. In the cutest flower-embossed pressed powders, they're so dinky it's almost a shame to use them! A hit of colour for your cheeks which makes you look instantly healthy in a swish. Again, easy.
