The Legacy 650 has a range of 7,223km while the Lineage 1000E has a range of 8,519km – both of which allow for a non-stop flight from Abu Dhabi to London or Singapore. Both aircraft also boast low noise levels, thus enabling maximum comfort during flight. The cabin of the Legacy 650 is the largest in its class, by as much as 20% to 40% depending on the aircraft in the same category it is compared to. This size allows 14 passengers to utilise three separate zones with ease. The Legacy 650 is the most utilised business aircraft globally and yet its operating costs remain low. The Lineage 1000E is an ultra large executive jet based on the ‘home away from home’ concept and is the only business jet in its category to provide five distinct cabin zones for up to 19 passengers, and is the epitome of comfort and state-of-the-art technology. Its cabin has a volume that is two-and-a-half times larger than traditional corporate jets in this category. It has a cabin area of about 750 square feet. One of the five cabin zones can be made into a private suite with a queen- sized bed and an optional walk-in shower. Each zone can be tailored for business, dining, or relaxation. The Lineage 1000E also provides superior acoustic comfort for conversations, for watching a movie, or just for peace and quiet. There is also a separate crew rest area, which is useful for long-haul flights. The ample aft baggage compartment – the largest among its competitors - is pressurised and conveniently accessible during flight. Design Given the very different owners, usage profiles and missions, Embraer has provided customers flexible options for their interior design. For some, it is a “home away from home” concept that drives the cabin interior design of the business jet. For others, especially corporate customers, the preference is for an “office away from office”, or even, a combination of both.
