These exuberantly feminine new bracelets exemplify the Parisian jeweller’s savoir-faire. The bracelets feature distinct Alhambra motifs. While this design was used for framing only in the Alhambra collection, in the Perlée collection it takes centre stage. Each bracelet is distinctly recognised and enhanced by the perlé or beaded border, and the choices are between white or pink gold. These shimmering golden beads are presented in various forms, both with and without diamonds. The Perlée collection offers bracelets that feature another Alhambra trademark: the stylised quatrefoil with round diamonds. However, it is significant that the beaded border here transforms into a bracelet formed exclusively of flowing and even golden beads. It is this bracelet that expresses the central thrust of the collection. Other variations include one version with the beaded border framing a full pave setting of diamonds, one with the beaded border framing a plain band with a satin finish, and one where the band shows an enlarged Van Cleef & Arpels signature.
