Sentebale Ambassador, soul singer Joss Stone later performed for guests around the campfire before the firework finale over Thaba Bosiu. It was a magical evening and ending to a truly humbling and life-changing experience for everyone involved. We continued our journey on to Cape Town to the stunning Val de Vie Polo Estate in the heart of the scenic Franschoek Valley, for the charity’s annual flagship event. After a fabulous lunch hosted by Royal Salute at Grande Roche, we were treated to a thrilling afternoon of polo at Val de Vie with Prince Harry leading out the Sentebale team alongside England Player and Royal Salute Ambassador Malcolm Borwick, while Argentinian Nacho Figueras, a professional polo player, Ralph Lauren model and Sentebale Ambassador, captained the opposing Royal Salute team. It was a closely fought match in front of 400 VIP guests, including South African former Olympic Gold Medal winner swimmer Ryk Neethling, with Royal Salute winning 8-7.
