The flagship restaurant Enigma is the world’s first restaurant to change its dining concept and world-class chefs four times a year. Showcasing visionary chefs from around the world, their unique stories and gastronomic visions, Enigma has taken Dubai’s culinary scene by storm taking discerning diners on an unexpected multi-sensory journey, with each new chapter ingeniously unfolding before their eyes. Even the menu remains confidential until guests are immersed in its theatrical, epicurean world. Radical avant-garde chef Quique Dacosta, whose eponymous restaurant in Spain holds an impressive three Michelin stars and is included in the prestigious World’s 50 Best Restaurants, was the first chef to debut at the restaurant, followed by Swedish two-Michelin starred chef Björn Frantzén. The restaurant’s current culinary chapter (at the time of going to print) and third incarnation – named The Inside Story – is under the direction of head chef Yunus Emre Aydin, bringing Turkish cuisine to life in a new and creative way. “Enigma was conceptualised to emulate the very nature of our current lifestyle: fast paced, versatile and dynamic,” says Patrick Robineau, Palazzo Versace’s hotel manager. “Always innovating, evolving and creating anticipation, we want Enigma to be an exceptional dining experience people crave and yearn to keep up with, just like other highly desired commodities.” Complementing the resort’s theme of attracting top talent, it also boasts Q’s Bar and Lounge – a jazz bar positioned to attract top performers and aficionados of the genre from across the globe – opened in partnership with legendary musician Quincy Jones. Treating guests and residents to dazzling live jazz performances by artists such as award-winning drummer and next generation star Ollie Howell and pop-fusion super group Dirty Loops, Q’s has an elegant ambience and phenomenal acoustics mirroring those of the great jazz venues of the world. Q’s also features a design based on the stylistic input of Quincy Jones, whose entertainment career spans six decades and who has a record 79 Grammy Award nominations and 27 Grammys (the second most of any recording artist in history), including a Grammy Legend Award under his belt. Sandra Tikal, general manager of Palazzo Versace Dubai, commented: “There are very few who have made as lasting an impression on the music scene as Quincy Jones. We are truly honoured that he has chosen Palazzo Versace Dubai to make history with the first ever Q’s Bar and set Dubai’s nightlife alight.” Adding to its roster of exceptional features, in December 2016 Palazzo Versace Dubai opened The SPA – the ultimate in luxury retreats. Located on the ground level in the west wing of the hotel, The SPA includes tranquil relaxation areas, seven luxury treatment rooms, one suite with private
