Beyond theCambon entrance, the celebrated – and now renovated – Salon César Ritz opens onto a vast terrace, as does the Salon d’Été on the Vendôme side. The new Salon Vendôme with its large proportions can accommodate up to 200 people for seated receptions, while the reshaped Ritz Paris Gallery, bathed in natural light, has become an airy shopping gallery in the spirit of Paris’ covered passages. Offering guests the option of a two-way private airport transfer with a VIP meet-and-greet at the aircraft door, as well as a courtesy Bentley, Ritz Paris has successfully delivered a restoration project that puts the hotel’s clientele first, while maintaining a level of luxury that imbues style, discretion and craftsmanship at every turn. “We made a point of listening to our clients,” says Nassim Yaghmaei. “We think that luxury no longer has the same meaning as it did in the 1980s. Comfort is essential, naturally, but dimensions play a new role. From the outset, the idea was to reduce the number of rooms from159 to 142.Most important of all was to optimise space and light. Three model rooms were consideredwith nine colour harmonies, various silks and other fabrics. The strength of the design is due to that distinctive approach.”
