Simply Abu Dhabi XXVI

The hospitality philosophy of Michel Reybier, owner of La Réserve Paris, is for each of his guests to feel at home while actually being somewhere completely different, and to share a way of life rooted in excellence, authenticity and simplicity. Far removed from the spirit of traditional five-star Palace hotels, La Réserve Paris is reminiscent of a private urban mansion, open to guests who share a particular philosophy of travel. It is an invitation to experience one of the greatest tourist capitals in the world from another perspective which is both unique and personal. Midway between Avenue Montaigne and Rue du Faubourg St-Honoré, it is set at a highly-coveted Parisian address: 42 Avenue Gabriel. A stone’s throw from where the heart of Paris beats, nestled in a peaceful location and slightly set back from the most beautiful avenue in the world, it overlooks some of the city’s key sights: the Eiffel Tower, the Pantheon, the Grand Palais and the Concorde Obelisk. Michel Reybier’s urban mansion has all the elegance of an early 19th century private apartment. Every guest is welcomed personally on arrival in the Salon Louis XV and taken to their suite to make sure that they feel at home immediately. Boasting more suites than rooms – 26 suites and 14 rooms – the hotel is paired with an additional ten apartments located at 10 Place du Trocadéro, the ideal complement to la Réserve Paris Hotel and Spa. The Haussmann-style building reflects all the codes of 19th century Parisian classicism. This is in magnificent contrast to the interior of the apartments, which are all spacious, understated and graced with decor by the talented Rémi Tessier. Two different visions, two complementary ways of making the most of the French capital: classical 19th century Parisian living at the hotel, a resolutely contemporary Parisian experience in the apartments, but always the same La Réserve-style way of life. 1 3 0 S I M P LY A B U DH A B I
