1 5 5 S I M P LY A B U DH A B I C omprising a staggering 600km of pistes and over 170 lifts, the Trois Vallées in the French Alps – one of the world’s largest lift-linked ski areas – is renowned for being home to one of the world’s most highly exclusive ski resorts, Courchevel. Favoured by family holiday-makers and the sport’s elite alike, Courchevel boasts some of the best powder ski slopes (thanks to its north-facing aspect), Palace-rated hotels, and no less than five restaurants with two Michelin stars. As of 2017, this prized area is also home to Six Senses Residences’ highly anticipated new development: Six Senses Residences Courchevel and Spa, the first of its kind in Europe. Commonly mistaken for being one resort village, Courchevel is in fact four distinctly separate ones. Located in Courchevel (1850) – by far the biggest resort village, spreading a good way up the hillsides – the opening of the spa marks the final milestone in the construction of Six Senses Residences Courchevel, which includes 53 exclusive apartments, including ten duplex penthouses with up to five bedrooms, private spa treatment rooms and triple aspect mountain views from private balconies and terraces. With over 50 per cent already sold, apartments in phase two are now for sale. Ranging in size from 70 to 260sqm, they are priced from 1.5 to 9.65 million euros. “When it comes to buyers, we’ve had a real mix of nationalities so far,” says Kerry McClinton-King, business development director at Six Senses Residences Courchevel. “The majority have been British, but buyers are also Swedish, Russian, Turkish and Middle Eastern. We probably have around 60 percent of those buyers who are renting their properties, aided by the fact that in France you can
