W elcome again my fellow beauty lovlies, to another edition of Simply AbuDhabi's cosmetic haven. I hope to introduce you to brand and products you will learn and welcome into your home. They all differ in terms of their aesthetic, delivery and angle at which they approach our beauty routine. Haircare is a very personal and challenging area. Most of us have 'damaged' or 'treated' hair that is in need of some attention and hydration. Not only heat from styling, but our every-day lives are surrounded by environmental aggressors, all contributing to the quality of our tresses. Lee Stafford, an expert in his field, is a man who can tame our manes back to health. His product range is so vast, it's easy to see he knows what he's creating, and that all hair types are catered for. A well respected figure in the industry, he is a true professional with many accolades under his belt. In the most natural and 1005 organic way, this is the brainchild of Dr Jurgen Klein, founder of Jurlique (a personal favourite of mine). It's 'pure' luxury but perhaps not as you know it. Handmade, free from synthetic fragrances and colours, no acrylics, chemicals, mineral oils and animal content. Thus of course, there is no testing on animals here either. Rest easy, this brand is cruelty free and beyond natural, it's all good. With retail outlets and spa's dotted around the globe, this is a skincare range who has extensive experience already under their belt. Read on to find out what they're offering us lucky consumers. Then finally, on to fragrance. A more personal area of our beauty regimen but integral nonetheless. Who feels complete without a spritz of something before we head out into our busy lives? The opulent sounding 'Velvet Collection' from Widian AJ Arabia is what we're taking a closer look at here. So close in fact that I managed to ask the creator behind the scents all about their inspiration for the collection, as well as more personal questions to get an insight into what it takes to create such important products in what can be such a saturated market.
