The ylang ylang flower. What sort of women do you think wear your fragrances? They are sophisticated, unique and sensual. Do you believe in fragrance layering? Yes I do, but with limits. What is your personal style? I like sweet oriental scents. Which scent evokes the most memories for you? Madagascan vanilla! Smell is one of our most powerful senses. Do you think it alters our behaviour? It reveals your personality, mood and memories. I always recommend choosing a scent that brings you happy memories and joy. Do you have a mantra you live by? Work to impress! What's the best piece of advice you've ever been given? It was from my father: “Always be patient, you never know what is next.” What would you tell your 15-year-old self? Oh, I’ve never considered that! I guess I would say, “You have a tough journey ahead of you!” Do you have a daily routine when it comes to general grooming etc.? I’m a very simple person, I don’t do anything special. I do, however, choose my morning and evening fragrance very carefully. How do you see the future of fragrances and what's to come for your company? Fragrances are part of our culture and personal care. I would expect more competition in this field, but the kind that helps us improve and work harder to hopefully cover most of the world’s markets.
