With this collection, Repossi showed how the world – her world – of fine jewellery and non-classical art like that of Picasso can be linked together in terms of silhouettes, concepts and ideas. In fact, looking at Repossi’s jewellery is often like looking at a modern painting: you see what the object represents (an ear cuff or a woman, perhaps) but you have to analyse it and understand it to appreciate completely the beauty that lies in its geometric-shaped lines.
