The necklace is instantly impressive with its unmistakable fluidity. Vhernier’s President, Carlo Traglio, describes the creation of his new piece saying, “We set out with what seemed like an impossible dream: to capture the fluid, three-dimensional form of a wave and turn it into an exceptional necklace, a modern gorgière which was both light and opulent. Using the lightness of titanium was the only way we could do it. At our workshops in Valenza we allowed ourselves the luxury of experimenting for more than two years, without ever knowing if we’d succeed. Finding the right way forward was incredibly satisfying, a wonderful creative experience.” deGRISOGONO Fawaz Gruosi has always been known for his bold creativity and this time he presents a white gold unique high jewellery necklace that weighs slightly less than 80 grams and features one cabochon-cut emerald measuring 43.64 carats and 14 other cabochon-cut emeralds totalling 157 carats that interact with 65 onyx adding up to 288 carats. Meanwhile 1,416 white diamonds and a further 1,349 emeralds of 7.5 carats, which results in a stunning piece that dazzles in its intricate features.
