BelAir LosAngeles D esigned by architect Sumner Spaulding, the 1935 residence was enhanced and restored under the direction of the recently deceased owner, Mr. A. Jerrold Perenchio, after he purchased the property in 1986. Mr. Perenchio engaged legendary French Designer Henri Samuel – known for his work on homes owned by the Vanderbilts, Rothchilds and Valentino – to redesign the estate. Inspired by eighteenth-century French Neoclassical design, the main residence is approximately 25,000 square feet in size with an elegant floor plan suited for entertaining on a grand scale.
