Enter CIPOd, the world’s first self-contained cinema pod, which is specially designed to slot straight into the home. Now making its global debut, it promises to rewrite the rules of cinema and set new standards in luxury, design and performance, allowing film connoisseurs to create a space that is as bespoke and optimised as the rest of their home. Sensational visuals To enter a CIPOd is to step into extraordinary. Forget merely watching television, the breathtaking quality of the visuals make the viewer feel they have literally entered the action themselves. Within seconds, they’re transported to the bottom of the ocean or the top of the world, the edge of space or the centre of the pitch, living every emotion just as the director intended. How does CIPOd achieve such feats of entertainment? By harnessing the power of a 4K Ultra Hd technology projector which, when combined with a 16:9 ratio Ultimate Screens projection screen or 2.39:1 anamorphic ratio screen, sets new standards in pin-sharp ultra-high definition image quality. The excellence of the visuals on the screen is matched only by the ambience of the CIPOd’s internal lighting. Each pod is fully equipped with the latest in LEd technology and bespoke control systems to ensure that the mood effortlessly complements the action taking place. Spine-tingling audio Film connoisseurs know that the sound is a crucial part of the movie experience. So it was a natural choice for CIPOd to partner with British pioneers Meridian Audio, whose cutting-edge audio solutions also grace top automotive marques like Jaguar, Land Rover and McLaren. Each pod employs the theatre specificationMeridian 9.4.4dolby ATMOS to provide a completely immersive experience, with a minimum of eight speakers and four subwoofers positioned in the ceiling and all four walls of the pod, wrapping the viewer in a blanket of low-frequency surround sound. This effect is enhanced still further by Up Sampling which uses a double-digit filter to enhance the listening experience and the Meridian High Resolution system which combines low jitter with high bandwidth and security to ensure the best possible sound quality.
