What would happen if our clothing items could help us with this? Corneliani has found a solution. For this Spring (but also for Fall 2019-2020) the italian brand has presented the Connected Style, a capsule collection with a hyper-technological soul. The collection is made of a coat, a backpack, a small travel bag, a computer bag and the iconic Connected Jacket, which is the core of this new way of wearing garments which are “devices-friendly”. Every piece designed by Corneliani in this capsule contains a customised power bank which, through induction, allows you to recharge your mobile phone by just keeping it in your pocket. This accessory is also equipped with a silver sheet to protect from harmful radiations. in particular, the Connected Jacket is intended to become the new iconic piece for the Corneliani man. its strength, in addition to its technology of course, is the elegance and traditional appeal of the refined interpretation of Made in italy savoir-faire: wool and silk are blended with technical fabrics and a stretch membrane ensuring wind and waterproof properties, with a refined fit. but now, let’s discover more about this revolutionary capsule collection with Stefano Gaudioso Tramonte, Manager and Style director of Corneliani. Simply AbuDhabi: Why have you presented the Connected Jacket both this summer and for the next winter? Did you feel that Corneliani should evolve? Stefano Gaudioso Tramonte: The world is constantly evolving, it is not a need, but a reality to which we must be able to respond. The customer today needs more and more new incentives that lead him to buy a new product. our task is to provide our costumer with always new garments which attract his attention with always innovative and performative features which somehow facilitate his life. This is what we do in Corneliani: we think about our clients’ needs and how to satisfy them. Simply Abu Dhabi: For Corneliani, how important is the digital world and the age that I would dare to call 4.0? Stefano Gaudioso Tramente: of course, in the last 20 years a lot of things have changed in men’s fashion. Today there are no more age clusters you can refer to, it’s about your social environment and about your culture, so we make efforts every season in order to study new fabrics and new performances in order to offer to our final customer an innovative and always new product. To give you an overview, technology plays a very important role in the production and our factory is evolving together with the rest of the company. We are active on social networks and we launched, one year ago, a new e-commerce… but everything we do has the purpose to allow the final customer to live an experience that goes beyond the product. As already mentioned, today it is important to try to speed up with the product evolution but always respecting the dnA of the brand. our man is a globetrotter who knows what’s going on: he knows the best restaurants and the best hotels, and he can afford to buy almost everything. our mission is to try to talk to him with a proper language and giving him evidence of the evolution of our product together with an impeccable service.
