Jack de Boucheron Embodying one of the firm’s cornerstone principles, “Freedom to Wear,” the brand-new Jack de Boucheron collection is infinitely free, wildly playful and a touch rebellious. It also marks the start of a new chapter in the Maison’s history. The collection can be worn in so many different ways that it’s entirely possible 2019 will see the concept of how we wear jewellery turned on its head. “I wanted to propose a design for women without imposing how they should wear our pieces,” says CEO Hélène Poulit- Duquesne. Every woman can choose the look she wants – this is true freedom to wear. The principle behind the new collection is so astounding clever that youmay not perceive it at first: a gold wire, sealed by a jeweller’s clasp, which fastens together like an auxiliary jack. Yes, the legendary House that has created pieces for czars, queens, and maharajahs has innovated an ingenious new closure that allows the wearer to play with the Boucheron codes, allowing her a scope of choice, like a blank page on which to write. She is free to mix the pieces according to her mood and her outfit, to experiment with her style and embrace her uniqueness. Neither necklace nor bracelet, but sometimes both at once, with the ultra-graphic clasp as the focal point of the design, Jack can be combined, connected, made bigger, piled up, transformed. It is playful and emancipated. With Jack anything is possible, starting with freedom. Whether in the gold version or partially sheathed with diamonds, wrapped round once, three times or six times, it is right on trend. Quatre Collection Ring It was in 2004 that the Quatre line made its entrance at the Maison, establishing its graphic signature and contemporary character. Over the years, it has become a timeless icon, constantly reinventing its sculptural look and urban elegance. This is because the Quatre collection, in all its infinite variations, interprets the free spirit of the Maison with a touch of cutting-edge design. The collection embodies at once the Parisian inspiration of the Place Vendôme jeweller, and the excellence of the artisan gold sculptor. The latest addition to this line-up is the Quatre Destructurée ring, in gleaming yellow gold. Monochrome and ultra-graphic, the Quatre Destructurée ring is relieved of the usual line of diamonds and leaves a mysterious aperture around the finger. Mysterious, witty, and contemporary, this piece highlights the esteemed brand’s full embrace of modernity. Boucheron: TheFreedomtoWear Boucheron may be one of the oldest and most revered jewellers in French history, but far from resting on its laurels (and stellar reputation), the original Place de Vendome jeweller has embraced and elevated the digital age we live in with aplomb, wit, and its legendary elegance. 1 3 4 S I M P LY A B U DH A B I
