In October 2018, the legendary brand unveiled a completely new ladies’ watch: The Twenty~4 Automatic, with a self-winding mechanical movement and a round case. This model is specifically designed for the modern active woman and is constructed in steel or rose gold with a diamond-set bezel and various dial colours – along with a more formal version in rose gold with a diamond-set bezel, crown and bracelet. Now Patek presents this model of timeless elegance in a rose- gold Haute Joaillerie version that celebrates the beauty of the design by dressing it entirely in diamonds. The dial, bezel, crown and bracelet are paved with some 3,238 diamonds – approximately 17.21 ct – presented in a “snow” setting. This highly complex technique, requires the gem-setter to combine diamonds of different diameters in such a way as to leave the least possible gold surface between the stones. The result is a shimmering radiance that is unique to that watch and makes it unique. In compliance with the criteria of the Patek Philippe Seal, all the diamonds are of Top Wesselton Pure quality and impeccable cut. The 18K gold dial is endowed with rose-gold applied Arabic numerals and baton-style rose-gold hands with a luminescent coating for perfect legibility. A gently cambered sapphire crystal prolongs the curves of the case. At the heart of this precious case beats Patek Philippe’s calibre 324 S self-winding movement, noted for the detailed beauty of its finish. Decorative techniques such as chamfered, polished edges and Geneva stripe decoration can be admired through the sapphire-crystal case back. The exclusive bracelet has broad, gently cambered central links framed by narrow two-tier links.
