H aving celebrated its fifth anniversary and moved into a new studio in London’s Kensington Village, 2019 has been a milestone year for luxury interior design studio, Elicyon. Led by trained architect, Charu Gandhi, and formed of a supremely talented team of 20, Elicyon designs bespoke, turnkey interiors for both private clients and developers. The studio has a wealth of experience on an international scale, delivering interiors across prime central London – Charu has designed seven apartments within One Hyde Park – and around the world. Eliycon’s client base now spreads from New York to Mumbai, Kuwait, Shanghai and Dubai, where the team has worked on a number of prestigious homes and developments, including the exceptional interiors at One Palm on The Palm Jumeirah. Born in India, based in London and travelling the world to visit clients, Charu’s design flair and creative vision are constantly inspired by her experiences of different countries and cultures. “I love to travel for both work and pleasure and often find inspiration whilst abroad. Something as simple as an exotic fabric or pattern, or the unusual way a building uses light and space, will strike me and go on to form an element of a project I’mworking on. Many of our clients are global nomads, so have a true appreciation for the way in which we bring international styles and influences into our work.”, says Charu.
