The distinctive apartments enjoy three large terraces and stunning on-site amenities including a 24-hour concierge, pool, spa facilities, private cinema, gym, leisure lounge and Club Canaletto. Three double bedrooms with two en-suites, separate bathroom and powder room are also accompanied by a study and spacious open-plan kitchen and lounge area. ‘Flipping the script’ so to speak on Beaumont Apartment 2802’s open-plan living space, the multi-disciplinary design team at WOMOArchitects have combined entertaining and hosting placing individual personal comfort as a priority. The ergonomic open-plan design allows ease of movement, while the furniture has been carefully arranged to establish independent zones to provide pockets of interest. The living area is oriented with large comfortable seating zones, a movable TV that defaults to digital art when not in use, and feature seating, from a snug reading corner to a group setting for entertaining guests. Natural oiled wood flooring matched with design details that are accented with light oak and pale sage green forms a contemporary foundation to a light-filled layout. The bedrooms vary in contemporary aesthetic and design elements, with comfort being the common thread. Signature furniture pieces include design elements by Patricia Urquiola, Piero Lissoni, Greta M. Grossman, Keiji Takeuchi, and Peter Fehrentz, to name a few. Artwork Becky Allen, Adam Ball, Dominique Cheng, Mae Engelgeer and Daniele Scauso is also featured. The second Apartment 2501 on the 25th floor has been designed by Jo Littlefair of internationally acclaimed Goddard Littlefair. The interior design is a sophisticated and feminine response to the organic nature of the architecture. Soft curves in the detailing provide a playfulness and speak to the building’s form, fluidly connecting the transition from outside to inside. The softened interior styling incorporates natural materials and a natural base palette to provide a minimalist, sophisticated look. Craftsmanship and luxury come through in the quality of the details, while accessories provide sophisticated pops of colour and joy. “Canaletto set the scene for emergence of the City Road Basin and bringing imaginative architecture to the area,” says Britta Harper, director at Orion Capital Managers, who commissioned the design for the apartments. “This vibrant area continues to see strong growth in the surrounding tech sector. By appointing WOMO Architects and Goddard Littlefair to design and furnish these two apartments we wanted to speak to our client base and demonstrate our commitment to design excellence.” Residents will not only enjoy some of the most impressive views across London but also underground parking and state-of-the-art amenities including a spa with jacuzzi, sauna and steam room, treatment rooms, a naturally lit swimming pool and a private cinema. And not forgetting the residents' club on the 24th floor, which has helped to establish Canaletto as one of London’s go-to creative social hubs. Photograph: Adam Ball Photograph: Adam Ball
