1 9 6 S I M P LY A B U DH A B I Designed in collaboration with Vripack, and with naval architecture undertaken by the Dutch studio too, the 11mWajer 38L promises an exhilarating experience at sea underpinned by comfort and safety. Built from GRP Composite, it is both lightweight and durable, enhanced by a deep V- planing hull shape for good sea capabilities and a smooth ride. Wajer has made history with a roster of unique models – the Wajer 37, 38, 38 S, 55 and 55 S – each characterised by elegant, enduring design and good sailing performance. All Wajer boats share a premium quality that has become a standard offering of the yard’s high-end Dutch design and production. Wajer has successfully deployed Volvo Penta engines on theWajer 38 line for years. To reduce the Wajer 38L’s draught – not to mention save space – the tender has a smart propulsion installation of Hamilton waterjets and Volvo Penta engines. The jets are fitted at the stern of the Wajer 38L, reducing draught by half a metre. They include a Blue Arrow functionality, ensuring intuitive ease of operation and making it simple to manoeuvre the boat in every direction. The four- cylinder D4 variety provide 260hp each and some impressive power for theWajer 38L, topping out at a rapid top speed of 38 knots. Twin Volvo Penta IPS 650 engines can also be fitted upon request. While the new Wajer 38L has been custom- designed for superyachts, all Wajers are in fact suitable as tenders. TheWajer 38 has successfully proven itself as a popular chase boat-cum-tender by a number of Wajer clients, while the Wajer 55 was chosen as a finalist in the ‘Best Tender Design’ in the 2019 Boat International Design & Innovation Awards. The Wajer 38L can accommodate up to 16 guests and has an impressive cruising speed of 24 knots making it a fast, stylish and reliable option on the tender market.
