Simply Abu Dhabi XXXVI

Enjoying breakfast each day at the vast dining table overlooking the infinity pool and the ocean view beyond it, or lunch in the Majlis style sunken sitting area, it’s easy to see why Samujana has such a high rate of return visitors and why only a few villas are available to purchase. It’s a place of genuine serenity and spending time there fosters an authentic sense of wellbeing. And if that wasn’t enough, the food is superb! Each day a lovely smiling villa host prepares Continental, American or full English breakfasts, accompanied by piles of fresh tropical fruit. Lunch can be local cuisine such as Thai salads, Andaman-harvested prawns, noodles and stir- fries, or a Western menu of club sandwiches, burgers and pasta is also available, and private chefs can also be hired for group dinners. Samujana is unsurprisingly popular as a destination venue for all kinds of events, with extravagant wedding celebrations being held often. Group events also include corporate and executive workshops, fitness and yoga retreats, and product launches. And of course, there are always birthdays, anniversaries and reunions… with Samujana as the backdrop, a memorable time is certain, whatever the occasion. Away from the celebrations, everyday life at Samujana is also well catered for. The villas have private access to a secluded beach and a free shuttle service operates between Choengmon Beach (five minutes) and the busier Chaweng Beach (ten minutes). On the estate, there are massages and spa services provided in the villa, and fitness experiences, such as the acro-yoga I tried out. There is also Muay Thai, personal fitness, tabata, cross-training, boot camp, pilates, yoga, meditation and chakra balancing. And if you just want to stay in the villa, it’s impossible to be bored, as villas have everything from jacuzzis, private gyms and state-of-the-art cinemas, through to pool tables, games rooms, table tennis and private spas.
