W ith the new men’s collection for Spring/Summer 2021, Dolce & Gabbana pay tribute to Italian art – including sculpture, ceramics, architecture, design and craftsmanship – while honouring the contemporary spirt and lifestyle of the modern man. Dolce & Gabbana continued its support for Fondazione Humanitas per la Ricerca with the unveiling of the new line, at an outdoor event held in the courtyard of the Humanitas University Campus, the educational arm of the Italian medical institution Dolce and Gabbana have been supporting for several years through donations to scientific research. While much important work takes places at Humanitas, and Dolce and Gabbana take their patronage quite seriously, the collection itself – the Parco dei Principi collection – is light-hearted, celebrating the joys of summer and the heritage of the Italian arts. Inspired by the cerulean hues of sea and sky, key pieces in blue are combined with lightweight white fabrics. The look is pure summer, evoking fond memories of summer holidays on the Mediterranean, from the warm sunny days to the cool breezes of evening. Simply Abu Dhabi | 135
