T he world sadly bid farewell to two beloved leaders in 2022, Queen Elizabeth II of United Kingdom and Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the second president of the United Arab Emirates. The two nations have a special relationship, and together we united in our collective grief and humble respect for these two monumental figures whose legacies will live on for generations. As some of our readers may remember, Queen Elizabeth II made an historic visit to Sheikh Khalifa in 2010, spending two days touring the Zayed Museum and visiting dignitaries of the Ruling Family. During the visit, the Abu Dhabi Declaration 2010 was signed, with His Highness Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs, reaffirming the 1971 friendship treaty between the two nations.
